Maybe We Could Live Here is a collaborative project focusing on making in a way that doesn’t require precision or a thought out plan; implusive, creative, and colourful. An activity that resembles that of how we made things as children.

Following a seminar held at the Work and Play Scrap store, our collective picked out scrap materials that spoke to our interests. Using preexisting collected materials and scraps from the store, we created structures such as houses, gardens, spaceships, etc., Throughout the weeks of building we discussed ideas of how the spaces could be utilised, ultimately trying to connect individual creations into one castle-like sculpture. Parts that resembled bridges and exterior pipes were added to create cohesiveness and to hold the structures together.

It brought us to another question of who lived in these spaces, or more so who we are creating this space for. We decided to answer this question by creating a short storybook publication of different creatures that need a place to live, finding this castle.

The exhibition was held in the The Muddy Puddle from the 12th until the 14th of March, 2024.
